Stacey: Jim, welcome to the show.
Jim: Hi, Stacey. Thanks for having me.
Stacey: Hey, thanks so much for being here. Whatever got you into real estate?
Jim: Oh man. I wanted something that I could be in control of how much I could earn, because I know there’s only so many minutes and hours in a day. I know that I could only do construction for an x amount of time per day. I knew I was always limited, plus I would say that my body was probably starting to give out on me early in my 20’s and I could see the writing on the wall.
Stacey: So that’s a pretty big leap, to go from construction, where as you put it, you use your body, to going into real estate and sales, where it’s a totally different skillset. I mean, you’ve got charisma, you’ve got personality, you’ve got mindset, you’ve got skillsets that are completely different than construction. Construction you just have to be friends with a hammer and a saw.
Jim: Oh yeah, it is absolutely different.
Stacey: How did you make that leap?
