There is no one way to become successful—there is no cookie-cutter answer to how to achieve success. But one of the main reasons I have been so successful, and my clients have also reached similar success, is because of consistency. Consistency forms habits and habits determine your actions, which will contribute directly to your success. If you really think about it, our results are based on what we are doing consistently, and our lack of success is often reflective of what we are not consistently doing.
In order to find success, it’s important to maintain consistency with:
Planning
Figure out what actions you need to take in order to be successful and make a plan, so you can consistently perform those actions.
Show Up and Following Up
Stop making excuses about why you can’t take the steps needed to execute your plans and follow through with your plans consistently. No matter how difficult it may seem to show up every single day, you need to. So stop putting off what you need to do today.
Networking
In order to grow your business toward greater success, you need to be networking consistently. One or two phone calls simply won’t get you where you want to go.
Marketing
I’m not talking about posting once or twice on social media. If you are a business owner, you are a marketer and need consistent marketing to gain traction toward your goals.
Self Reflection and Improvement
Make space to reflect on the fact that you and only you can create your own success. Then, consistently think about what is holding you back from success and what you could be doing better to remove any obstacles standing in your way.
In order to be consistent, we need to make changes in our daily lives that leave time for us to make room for consistently taking the right action. Take a look at your day-to-day workflow. How many hours are you actually logging, and how much time are you wasting? Get off of social media and make time to take action toward your goals.
Stop putting off positive actions until tomorrow. If you have time to plan for tomorrow, you have time to do whatever you are putting off today! Success is inevitable if you remain consistent. It is not instantaneous, but it is inevitable.
